June 16, 2010 ~ Stevetheater Has A Website
His stay here was short-lived as he's made his own website to showcase his work. I'll be removing his artwork from this site but I encourage you to bookmark his new one and visit often as he's always creating new images. He's a phenomenally creative guy and he'll be missed here but I wish him all the best on his new site. Way to go, Steve!

Congratulations to for being asked to do a lot of artwork for people all over the world for many different bands! It's awesome that he's being asked to use his talents and his passion for digital art to possibly make a living out of. He's managed to squeeze in some time to make us some new wallpapers so check them out, there are six new ones.

February 4, 2010 ~ Wither Fan Video
I was contacted by Evgeniya Bogdanova (Jeniya) who had made a fan video for the song Wither about posting a link here for it. After seeing how amazing and professional it is I really wanted to have it here for the fans to see. You can tell she put a lot of work into it and she is very proud of it and she should be.

PS - I wonder if anyone will be sending any artwork in? I see a lot of great stuff online but it's not for me to just post them here without permission so it's always been up to the artists to submit their stuff here. Even though this site is popular and gets plenty of traffic it's just not generating new contributions. Anyone have any ideas?

December 15, 2009 ~ R.I.P. Chirp 1997-2009
After a sudden onset of cancer and some major suffering and holding-on the last week (until test results came in) Mare and I put him down today at 12:30pm.
He was the absolute greatest kitty I've ever had, and I've had lots of kitties. By the end he was so tired and drained but we knew he was holding on just long enough to say goodbye to us. What a strong and brave little guy. He had been getting weaker by the hour and not eating or drinking. He had 3 seizures over the last 12 hours that paralyzed him for about 40 minutes each time. He had severe, severe anemia (no red blood cells) caused by some form of cancer. Even if we had the money to attempt to save him (x-rays, ultrasounds, blood transfusion, bone marrow) he would have suffered greatly and that would be the most selfish and disrespectful thing we, or anyone, could do to him (or any other animal companion).
Chirp had bonded to me like no other. Everywhere I went he was with me and his favourite spots were either laying on my desk in front of my keyboard as I worked or in my arms looking up at me. He also loved to lay on my chest and just purr like there was no tomorrow. When I arrived home he'd always run to the door and greet me like he hadn't seen me in weeks. He absolutely lived for the moment and was happier and sweeter than any other kitty I'd ever known. It didn't matter what was going on around him he just wanted to be happy and loved, which he was.
The first day we got him he sat on Mare's lap (she picked him out) but after that he was always scared of her unless she had treats to offer, but we knew he loved her anyway, he just had a strange way of showing it. Aside from that time he never actually sat on her lap, just near her. Just before taking him in today he struggled to his feet and crawled into her lap and buried his head into her. This was his way of saying "thank you and I love you" just before the end.
Chirp made our lives so much better during the brief time he was with us and we are better people knowing that he touched our hearts and our souls.

November 23, 2009 ~ New Stuff
Stevetheater has been kind enough to send in five new wallpapers. This guy is an amazing talent so you should definitely check out his work.
Just as an aside, I was laid off in August and haven't been able to find any work so if anyone is hiring in the Vancouver, BC, Canada area please give me your consideration. I'm very versatile and have a lot of talents in a lot of different areas.
Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
August 12, 2009 ~ New Resident Artist!
I'm very excited to finally present a NEW resident artist... stevetheater! I've seen his work lots on the mp.com forum and I'm glad he's finally decided to submit his fantastic artwork here for everyone to enjoy. He's promised some more creations soon but this first few should keep everyone busy until then.

July 1, 2009 ~ Don't call it a comeback...
... I've been here for years!
Well, I think it's about time to end my hiatus and get this site going again. I honestly hope that the fans can send in new artwork cuz that's what this site needs to stay alive.
In order to help kick some serious ass this time around I'll be Cleaning Out The Closet with big contests and big prizes to give away. I'll be launching it soon so keep an eye out for it but in the meantime feel free to get creative and send stuff in.
